Employer 3 (October 2023 to March 2024) – Malay Family with an elderly couple living in a 2-room HDB flat. Grandma was wheelchair-bound while Grandpa was weak but able to walk slowly. Dewi handled housework and cooking, and provided care for both elderly. Her duties included assisting with toileting and showering, administering medication and insulin, monitoring their temperature and blood pressure, and accompanying them to medical appointments.

Transfer as the elderly passed away

Employer 2 (Dec 2021 to Oct 2023) Malay family of four members living in a 4-room HDB flat. The household included a mobile Grandma. Her responsibilities included general housework, cooking, and assisting Grandma with her daily needs.

Completed Contract and employer don’t need helper

Employer 1 (Nov 2020 to May 2021) -  Indian  family consisted of six members, including a semi-mobile Grandpa and three children aged 9 years, 3 years, and a newborn, living in a 3-room HDB flat.

Dewi managed general housework and cooking, assisted Grandpa with showering and toileting, and accompanied him for medical appointments. She also helped with childcare before and after school and handled infant care, including night feeding, bathing, and diaper changing.

She left this job due to the heavy workload of managing both elderly care and a newborn, which resulted in insufficient rest. 



MALAYSIAN EXPERIENCE (2017 To 2020)

Worked in IPOH, for three years with a Chinese family of 15 members living in a 4 storey landed house together with another helper. Her responsibilities included sharing the housework, cooking, washing cars, feeding the family dog and care for the Ah Ma.
